Newsletter Interview

Can't wait to be featured soon and if y'all are curious about how I answered the questions,
  1. I own a Flowers Business with my Mother that goes by the name of FlowersMansion. Specialising in both soap and preserved flowers, we believe in a more sustainable way to spread love to your loved ones with flowers that represent eternity. As both soap and preserved flowers have a longer lifespan compared to fresh flowers, we can also save on wastage costs in the long run.
  2. My mother founded the company back in 1994 but stopped a few years later due to her being pregnant with me. I only started selling Flowers with my mother during COVID-19 as she wanted to try it again and was looking for help to help expand her business. I was running a Streetwear business that goes by the name of Heratics at that time and therefore able to help her run her social media account professionally as well.
  3. Definitely, running these businesses while juggling with schoolwork, family time and relationships is not an easy task. Thankfully, i have very supportive people around me that kept me going, which helped me overcome obstacles that i can never overcome by myself.
  4. One should always have expectations when doing business. Without expectations, there will never be a goal and without a goal, there will never be a path where the business will be successful. Despite reality being disappointing with results that doesn’t deem fit with your hard work, it is important to still have high expectations so that you can carry on and not give up. If it's easy, it's not worth doing it.
  5. Start when you're young. There is no such thing as regret because regrets are always lessons to learn from. Don't hesitate to start and learn from your mistakes along the way. Its better if you have somebody to talk to about business. Despite me not having a mentor, i am definitely open to have a conversation with anybody that is interested. (I'm not the best but it's better than not having anybody to talk to about starting a business)
Happy to be interviewed and can't wait for the newsletter to be published so that we can take another picture to post it on our blog!
